About the Role

Responsibilities:

Maintain a prominent level of visibility and involvement in the banqueting operations at all times
Ensure that all team members are trained to carry out effective, professional service and to deliver a warm welcome.
Responsible for all queries that may arise whilst on duty and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Ensure high standards are set and continue to be observed.
Prepare effective rosters to ensure ample cover for business levels.
Complies with all accounting procedures as defined by the accounts department.
Recruitment and training of all team members.
Prepares and trains all team members on standards of procedures for the department.
Manages department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed goals set.

Requirements

Salary: €35-€38,000


We are now recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Manger to join this Luxury 4* Hotel in Waterford.

With the emphasis on quality food and service, our client is looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about achieving the highest standards.


The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Will have experience as Restaurant Manager

  • The ability to manage department heads and experience in managing

  • Sound knowledge and passion for food & beverage

  • To oversee the day to day running of the food and beverage operation

  • Knowledge of Standards of Service

  • Previous experience with KPI’s, budgets, stock control, and forecasting

  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to drive business and sales

  • Training and rostering of staff
